وهو أول الرسل عليهم السلام. ودليل رسالته من القرآن الكريم ما جاء في الآيتين السابقتين:
(أ) قوله تعالى في آية البقرة: {فإما يأتينكم مني هدى}.
ففي هذا وعد بالهدى من الله تعالى، وإشعار بالرسالة.
(ب) وقوله تعالى في آية طه: {ثم اجتباه ربه}.
والظاهر أن اجتباء الله له بعد المعصية وتوبة الله عليه، إنما هو اصطفاء الله إياه للرسالة.
كما يدل على رسالته عموم قوله تعالى: {وَإِنْ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلا خلا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ}، وقوله تعالى: {ولقد بعثنا في كل أمة رسولاً}.
وقد كان أولاد آدم أمة تتطلب رسالة ربانية، وأحرى الناس بأن يكون رسولاً لأول أمة إنسانية إنما هو آدم عليه السلام أبو البشر، المكلّم من قِبل الله تعالى.
لذلك نرى اتفاق معظم علماء المسلمين على نبوته ورسالته.
وعن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "أنا سيد ولد آدم يوم القيامة ولا فخر، وبيدي لواء الحمد ولا فخر، وما من نبي يومئذٍ - آدم فمن سواه - إلا تحت لوائي، وأنا أول من تنشق عنه الأرض ولا فخر". رواه الترمذي.
وقد تولى الله جلَّ وعلا عرض قصة خلق آدم في تسع سور من القرآن الكريم، وبيّن لنا في قصته أنه هو الإِنسان الأول الذي بثّ الله منه هذه السلالة من البشر على وجه هذه الأرض. كما حدَّد الله لنا في كتابه كيفية خلقه لآدم، بشكل صريح واضح لا يحتمل التأويل، فلا مجال لإِيراد تكهّنات وتخيّلات وفرضيّات حول كيفية بدء وجود الإِنسان على هذه الأرض، ولا مجال لفرضيات "دارون" وغيره بعد أن ورد إلينا يقين لا شبهة فيه عن الذي خَلَق وصوّر وهو بكل شيء عليم. ونحن نعلم أن كل اعتقاد يخالف ما تضمنه القرآن الكريم بشكل قاطع هو اعتقاد مخالف للحقيقة، وكل اعتقاد مخالف للحقيقة من الحقائق القطعية التي نصت عليها الشرعية اعتقاد مُكفِّر.

Adam peace be upon him
He is the first messenger peace be upon them. And the evidence of his message from the Holy Quran as stated in the two previous verses:
(A) The verse in the verse of the cow: (Either they come from me Huda).
In this is a promise of guidance from God, and notice of the message.
(B) And the verse says in the verse Taha: (and then the Lord's anger).
It seems that the delay of God after the sin and repentance of God, but is God's assignment to the message.
As evidenced by the message of the general saying: (and from a nation only a sinner in it), and says: (We have sent in each nation messenger).
The children of Adam were a nation that required a divine message, rather people were to be the messenger of the first human nation, but Adam, peace be upon him, Abu-al-Beshr, who was spoken by God.
Therefore, we believe most Muslim scholars agree on his prophecy and his message.
On the authority of Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, he said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "I am the master of Adam's birth on the Day of Resurrection, Pride". Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
God Almighty revealed the story of the creation of Adam in nine verses of the Koran, and told us in his story that he is the first person to whom God transmitted this strain of human beings on the face of this earth. As God has determined in his book how to create Adam, frankly clear and can not be interpreted, there is no room for speculation, imaginations and assumptions about how to start the existence of human on this land, and there is no room for the assumptions of "Darwin" and others after we received a certainty is not suspicious of who created And he is depicted in everything knowing. We know that any belief that contradicts the contents of the Holy Quran is categorically contrary to the truth, and any belief contrary to the truth of the peremptory truths provided by legitimacy is a disbelief.
